Rx.Health created the first enterprise-wide EHR-integrated digital formulary and has formed a strategic partnership with LiveCare, a leading provider of Remote Patient Monitoring systems. The digital health companies have successfully completed integration between Rx.Health’s Prescription Universe Platform, RxUniverse, and LiveCare’s proprietary Smart Home Gateway, the Link+ pendent hub.
Through this integration, Rx.Health expands its capabilities from device-less patient interactions to now include device-based remote patient monitoring. The Rx.Health Prescription Universe platform now provides physicians with the ability to prescribe the Link+ and remote monitoring devices directly to patients from directly within their EHR System.
Regarding the strategic partnership, Rx.Health CEO Richard Strobridge said, “The addition of LiveCare’s Link+ to the Prescription Universe brings integration to over a hundred additional remote monitoring devices to the Rx.Health platform. Combined with our existing EMR and EHR integration, we can now provide payers, health systems and physician groups with even more valuable comprehensive data and analytics for their managed populations. Recent introduction of new Remote Monitoring CPT codes truly aligns health providers with patients’ needs, as it provides additional new revenue to providers while improving patient health and outcomes.”
Peri Avitan, CEO of LiveCare, stated, “LiveCare is excited to partner with Rx.Health to bring Remote Monitoring solutions into the Rx.Health Prescription Universe Platform. Our Link+ system supports over 100+ devices including Glucose monitors, Blood Pressure monitors, Spirometers, Digital Scales, Thermometers, Cardiac monitors and more.
